The PRTB was established in September 2004 to resolve disputes between landlords and tenants; operate a national tenancy registration system and provide information and policy advice on the private rented sector.
The PRTB dispute resolution service replaces the courts in relation to the majority of landlord and tenant disputes. Shane Nulty Property Management can provide all details of how this process works when a tenant, landlord or third party is unable to resolve the matter themselves. The service provided includes Mediation, Adjudication and/or a Tribunal.
Since the Residential Tenancies Act 2004 tenancies must be registered with the Private Residential Tenancies Board. It is the responsibility of the landlord to register the details with the Board. Both the landlord and the tenants are entitled to a copy of their details entered on the register. Shane Nulty Property anagement can complete the required PRTB1 tenancy registration form on behalf of landlords and submit this to the PRTB
